Sales Terms and Conditions

This agreement contains the terms and conditions that apply to orders for products which you (the "Customer") purchase from Genealogy Pro Software Services (the "Vendor"). By accepting delivery of the products described on the invoice, the Customer agrees to be bound by and accepts these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change without prior written notice at any time at the Vendor's sole discretion.

You can purchase Genealogy Pro using a secured credit card payment processing service. On-line payment on the Internet is performed using an SSL secured transaction via the PayPal service. Data recorded by the payment system are considered as unique proof of purchase. We Do Not have access to any of your financial information (bankcard numbers, bank account information, credit history, et cetera), nor do we collect any other personal information (birth date, Social Security number, age, gender, et cetera). Your personal financial information remains in the secure and capable hands of our payment processor, PayPal, Inc. and is protected in accordance with the PayPal Privacy Policy.

All prices are expressed in US Dollars

The fee for Genealogy Pro for MacOS X is non-refundable.

Genealogy Pro for MacOS X is a personal license. The personal license will be sent by the vendor to the Customer by e-mail provided by the Customer when ordering.

Neither exchange, nor partial or total refund can be claimed for the software license after Customer has received and read his/her personal registration code. The Vendor reserves the right to invalidate and to lock at any moment the personal registration code of the Customer following an illegal distribution of this code or a default in the complete payment of the software license. In no event will the Vendor be liable for any direct or indirect consequence of the invalidation and locking of a personal registration code following a default in payment or an illicit distribution of the personal code.

The Vendor shall not be liable for any damage as a result of any delay or failure to deliver due to any cause beyond the Seller's reasonable control, including, without limitation, act of the Buyer, act of terrorism, embargo or other governmental act, regulation or request, fire, accident, strike, slowdown, war, riot, delay in transportation, or inability, due to Bio Threat Alert, to obtain necessary labor, materials or manufacturing facilities.

The Buyer's exclusive remedy for other delays and for the Vendor's inability to deliver for any reason shall be termination of the affected agreement.

The Vendor makes no warranty, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, with respect to the products sold herein. In particular, because of the wide diversity of hardware and software configurations, the Vendor cannot guarantee that their software programs run properly on any computer.
